Stripe takes the payment. The code comes to you by email, so when they get it is up to you.

What does the code pay for?

One print of their mountain, up to the amount you chose, or the digital file. Shipping is paid when they order. A print that costs less than the gift doesn't carry the difference over.

What if they haven't climbed it yet?

The code waits. It has no expiry date, so it can wait for the summit. The terms set out the rest.
